Spongebob

I saw Hale's new video, "Tollgate" a few weeks back.

champ's looks are fading really fast.

His flaws were there, bare, and everywhere.

He didn't even bother putting on concealer like he did when i first saw him in person.

Anyway, I told Karen about this (she has a crush on him). She said she already knew and that she and her HS friends were hilariously referring to him as Spongebob (because of the apparent holes on his face).

Man, girls could be so mean.

Hale had a gig in my sister's school a few months ago and she said everyone was rolling their eyes at them, and the "Halers" (using that term makes me gag-- why label yourself?) were acting stupid.
All throughout Hale's performance the audience were screaming here and there :
  • "BOYBAND!"
  • "BADING!" (not sure about that one)

And Champ, in an attempt to charm the ladies in the audience said:

"Wow, ang gaganda naman ng girls dito sa school nyo!"

After which a brave and rather funny guy screamed at the expense of Champ's humiliation:

"Sinungaling!"

Hahaha, my sister said Champ just laughed.

Sometimes, the fans are the ones who bring their idols down. They act like silly little girls, it's embarrassing.

Sandwich in Myx live

i slept through sandwich's myxlive performance the other night. I only got past until "viewmaster" then i entered ZZZzz world.

I'll watch the re-run on Sunday.

There was this one thing that really bugged me, though. it was Jet Pangan, when he said:

" Yadda, yadda, yadda, Sandwich! Ang pinaka MASARAP na banda sa Pilipinas!"
There is just something wrong with that sentence.
Raimund is so old... but really hot. heehee.
My sister said Diego was cute. I didn't notice until then that there was a new member- Mong (Alcaraz? I think... i believe he was a member of ChicoSci... a band I know because Raimund is its producer).
I think their music changed. I like them better with Mark in the band. But i suppose a little change won't hurt anyone. I still like their music.
Good luck and God bless you, Sandwich!!!

Mi Amor

Aahh... Raul will now be a
footballer/actor

hahaha

It Ruined the Movie "Goal"

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

PUt* M*r!!!!!!!!!! What the hell?!!!!!!!!

I saw goal this morning. I liked the story.

I even saw my numero uno santo patronato Raul Gonzales-BLANCO.

I love that man.

The soundtrack was also good. It was pretty much the unreleased greatest hits of my numero uno banda Oasis.

It featured Noel's version of Cast No Shadow (a very solemn version).

Then came the credits.

David Beckham- HIMSELF
Zinedine Zidane-HIMSELF
Raul Gonzalez Bravo-HIMSELF

Raul Gonzalez Bravo.

Bravo. As in Raul Bravo. Not Raul Gonzalez Blanco.

Dare they screw the Spanish football legend's name?

Waaaaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM ENRAGED!!!!!!!

HOW COULD THEY CONFUSE RAUL WITH R. BRAVO????

This is a movie about football, for Real Madrid's sake.

But my fits aside. I just learned There will be a Goal 2.

The story line is Munez will be transfered to Real Madrid!!!!
I AM NOT EVEN DREAMING THIS UP.

That only means for me that Raul will be in front of the camera more.

Ah.... mi amor....

Bullsh*t. I just remembered Solari is now in Intermilan.

ooohhhh.... Raul......

Sandwich is number 1!

Oh my goodness, I honestly didn't expect it. I mean, yeah, the song is catchy and the video is rock and roll cool, but I didn't think the "Halers" or whoever composes the religious voters of MYX would pick up the vibes and vote for them. well, at least I get to see more of Raimund.

I suppose theyre no longer underground. they've emerged from the underground coolness to mainstream rock icons. I mean, wow, I could go on and on about how hot the video of "Sugod" is. They are downright cool sweetiepies.

Oh, but what about Mark what's his last name? I mean, with all "due" respect, Raimund is an EXCELLENT and GODLY frontman, but ow could he possibly belt out the songs of Sandwich that Mark has owned his? Like Butterfly Carnival?
I am still in a state of surprise and pleasant relief that Sandwich is breaking into mainstream.

I just hope no one would rig me as a new fan, or one that only liked them because they're popular and I could meet boys in their gigs (I hate girls like that-- rotten apples!).

I mean, I could prove through my earlier posts that I've been a fan for a long time, and the reason if I would ever go to their gigs is to see Raimund (since I could no longer listen to Mark's vocals) hehe.

I remember, when I bought their album the first time:

me: Excuse me, meron po kayong album ng Sandwich?
Salesguy: Meron. Eto oh. Gusto mo dagdagan ng Mayonnaise?

Haha, fun pun.
Mabuhay Ang Sandwich.

Rai I love you!!!!!!!!

Coffee Jelly

I tasted Jollibee's Ice Craze Coffee Jelly for the first time last tuesday.

This lunch period I excitedly ordered it again.

me: Pongs, wag mung kalimutan yung coffee jelly ha. Kung waang coffee jelly, wag ka nalang um-order ng ic craze.

Then, after about thirty minutes, a service crew member came up to our table and said that the machine that makes the coffee syrup was broken.
"Ma'am, okay lang po Ube Keso nalang?"

in my mind: "Noooooo!!!!!!"
In my mouth: "um... okay..."

The Ube Keso tasted like crap.
I could still hear the words echoing in my brain:

Me: "Yay! Jollibee uli tayo, gusto ko ng Coffee Jelly!"

Waiter: "Wala pong Coffee jelly"

Me: "Masarap pala to"

Waiter: "Sira po yung machine."

Me: "Coffee Jelly!!!"

Waiter: "Ube keso!"

Me: "Coffee jelly"

Waiter: "Ube keso"

Me: "Okay..."

Crap.

The Ponga Experience

I have this friend we call Ponga (not his real name).

He is the only guy of the quartet that is composed of:

Anna
Karen
Borsamoht
Ponga

Collectively known as Borsamoht's Annakarenonga.

hahaha.

Not that I'm the writer or ring leader or whatever, we just couldn't find the right syllable wherein we could insert my weird name.

Anyway, Ponga is thinking of joining the Pinoy Big Brother teens edition.
He is serious about it and consistently asks us if he has a chance. I think he's a very unique person.

KFC Recto:
1) When Anna and I were talking about Krystallnacht's Movies (The Pianist, A Beutiful Life, Empire of the Sun), particularly A Beautiful Life, he blurts ut:
"Ah, alam ko yan, di ba si J.Lo dyan?"
2) When asked what he'll do when he is being stragled by a psycho, instead of punching or kicking the attacker, he chose to pinch the guy in the armpit.

I can't think of anything else. hmmm.

Besides, a person cannot be summed up even in a book, because his story is not meant to be limited by words.

Well, good luck, Ponga!
